SITS15 at London Olympia
“Martyn and his team were fantastic and helped to create our exhibition stand for SITS15, they managed to take our ideas of a 50’s diner and make it a reality. The stand looked fantastic and everyone (staff, exhibitors and customers) loved it. Martyn and his team made all of the changes that we asked for and even managed to think of things that we had forgotten. Thank you!!
Grace Tapper, Design and Marketing Executive at the Service Desk Institute (SDI)
Having worked with SDI for over eight years, 2015’s design brief was probably one of the most radical to date. In the past, we have produced stands based on seminar principles – stands that are intrinsically interactive and stands that are information based.
For 2015, we were given a ‘mood board’ by our client’s marketing team, Grace and Chloe. Their brief was to create an ‘American Diner’ so we embarked on a design journey to create a stand in the style of a diner.
Our goal was to make the most of the space and create a workable open stand, where previously the stand had only been open on two sides. (The show had moved to a new venue at Olympia and was now open on all four sides.) This gave us the opportunity to design a stand in the ’round’, which proved to fit in with the design concept and our client’s requirements for the operation of the stand.
Following client approval, we embarked on the stand production and installation. As with all shows installation times are limited, however using HDL’s systems and pre-produced graphics, we were able to produce the stand to budget, and to schedule.
The show’s move to Olympia proved to be a success, as was SDI’s stand at the show.
